Time
Management
(Ecclesiastes 1:8)
There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens. A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant. A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to tear down, and a time to build. A time to weep, and a time to laugh, A time to mourn, and a time to dance, time to scatter stones, and a time to gather them;
A Time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces. A time to seek, and a time to lose; A time to keep, and a time to cast away. A time to rend, and a time to sew; time to be silent, and a time to speak. A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time of war, and a time of peace.
What is time?
Time is a continuous sequence of an event that keeps going and it does not stop but when it comes to time from a biblical perspective as human beings we can not control time only God can. As the writer has addressed from a biblical point of view using the reference from Ecclesiastes 1-8, there is time for everything we do.
Are you making time for God
Are you making time for yourself
Are you making time for your family or church
Are you making time for your health check ups regularly
Are you making time to visit your beloved and friends.
When we look at the Bible Jesus made time for people and even those who wronged and hated him. He made time to heal them and pray with them. To practise time it begins in the family homes it starts with us parents as the children’s caretakers.
What do you do with your time? Self reflect
What comes into your mind when you think about time?
How do you manage your time?
How and whom do you spend your time with?
And whom are you spending your time doing together?
Where do you spend most of your time?
Ask yourself:
If you are not at work, where are you?
If you are not at home with your family, where are you?
If you are not at school, where are you?
Are you doing something productive with your time?
At times we need a reminder, to remind us how important time is and we must always reflect on what we spend most of our time doing?
Think! Before spending your time, is it productive? Will it help me to succeed in life?
In life we tend to be super busy with work, businesses, school runs, trying to make money with no ends. Then we forget that we are neglecting ourselves by not making time for the person I call “SELF” that is YOU.
As a mum's rest is needed, Let’s try to make time for ourselves, value yourself, you are worthy, regardless of how super busy we tend to get. “GIRL get a rest“ “Man get a rest”, “you need it so you can recharge those batteries in your body.” It is good for your mental and physical health.
